A booklet containing the liturgy used during the Way of the Cross on Good Friday and Easter Sunday, with additional prayers and reflection for Easter Saturday, is available here.
The Way of the Cross pilgrimage walk through the streets of Melbourne takes place on Good Friday morning, 10:00am, starting at St Francis church. It concludes with a short walk on Easter Sunday morning, 6:30am, starting at St Paul’s Cathedral. See our ‘Way of the Cross’ page and booklet below for more details.
A brochure listing the special Passion and Easter Week services of the city’s churches is prepared before Easter each year. You can view, print or download the brochure (PDF version) from the link on this page. Printed copies are distributed to city, Southbank and Docklands hotels and tourist offices, and should be available from hotel concierges and tourist offices in the city from Palm Sunday each year.
A brochure listing the regular weekly services of the city’s churches is in preparation and will be uploaded to this site.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions on church gatherings from time to time, normal services may be affected or have special provisions in place to attend.
